i was really sorry to hear of irene's death. it was not until i was over last year that a friend told me about irene. i knew her in the early eighties. our paths did cross at one time. im sure anne in time the truth will come out. god bless your family

Anne, I met you recently in Cobh at Sheola's memorial service. (I had your back!!) I cannot describe how impressed I was with your courage and determination. I saw at first hand how difficult it was for you to speak publicly but you did it anyway. You certainly are a credit to your sister and your family. I will remember you all in my prayers and I know in my heart justice will be done for your sister. God bless.

2 years on...& just looking at the photo's of Irene.. I feel sick inside. What a beautiful funlovin' woman. How dare 'someone' do this to her...!!?? They WON'T get away with this!!!! My heart goes out to all of her family and friends, Always.

The last time i spoke to Irene a few weeks before her murder, she was a frightened woman, I pray that her murderer is brought to justice soon so she can rest in peace. You are right not to let it rest. Irene would be proud if she were here today

Anne,I spoke with you at memorial service today in Dundalk.Well done, a very moving and emotional experience.So much sadness and so much pain.My sister Mary was murdered in Donegal on 29 January 2003.I would like her to be remembered with love.Your sister Irene would be proud of your fight for justice.
